Interview: Senior Subramanian Meyyappan
His Experiences of Being in India During the Virus Lockdown
Senior Subramanian “Subbu” Meyyappan escaped to India with his family last month to get away from the coronavirus pandemic in Japan. He is currently in Coimbatore, holed up with his parents. More than 30 days into his escape, Subbu says the lockdown rules in India are a lot more strict than Japan. Despite that, India has managed to stay positive during the ordeal. Subbu spoke to Hibiki from India on the first day of the Tamil new year.
There are no passenger flights between India and Japan at this time. India is currently in lockdown until May 4.
